Do you feel you have the best drift on the Mario Kart courses? Believe you have what it takes to be a top contender in a racing tournament? Well, if you are in North America, then this weekend will be your opportunity to prove yourself worthy of a spot at the top! The Mario Kart North American Open January 2022 tournament is taking place January 21-23. To be more specific, here are the times and dates:
January 21, 2022 12pm PT - 6PM PT
January 22, 2022 12pm PT - 6PM PT
January 23, 2022 12pm PT - 6PM PT
You only have to actually hop in for one tournament day, but you are welcome to participate in all three days if you’re up for it. To enter, you must participate in the Tournament in the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe game during the Tournament Period. To access the Tournament, select the following, in order, within the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe game: Online Play, Tournaments, Search by Code. Enter the following code to enter the in-game tournament.

Make sure you have your Nintendo Switch Online up-to-date and connected to the Nintendo website account because the Top 8 players from each Tournament Day receive 2,500 My Nintendo Gold Points to redeem on Nintendo eShop. Don’t forget to take a moment to look over the tournament rules as well.
