Capcom just confirmed last Decemberthat all games under Mega Man X would be heading to the Switch . However, the publisher did not give details on how these games will be distributed. Now, Capcom has announced via Famitsu that these games will be launched in two collections.
First, Mega Man X Legacy Collection will comprise of Mega Man X, X2, X3 and X4, while Mega Man X Legacy Collection 2, will include Mega Man X5, X6, X7, and X8.
Furthermore, these collections will include bonus features that will comprise of an art gallery and a photo gallery of merchandise. A new mode called the X Challenge will also be part of the collection where players can fight bosses from the entire X series. Lastly, a screen filter will be included to smooth out the pixels on modern high-definition TVs.
Mega Man X Legacy Collection 1 and 2 will launch on July 24thh for the PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. The digital bundle is currently priced at $19.99 each, while the retail version will cost players $39.99 each.
