For a very long time, fans have been waiting for the PS5/Xbox Series X version of Minecraft that will allow players to have higher framerates, ray-tracing and more, but Microsoft has yet to give fans any official confirmation about the new version. However, a fan spotted something in their game that might just pique your curiosity.
Spotted by doryNtr on Twitter, they spotted the ability to play the PlayStation 5 Preview of Minecraft, however they were unable to actually play te game but it leads to a “content not found” error.
With the recent Xbox Showcase being the opportune moment to even shadowdrop the feature, we will probably have to conitnue waiting for the current generation port to come.
Currently, console users are playing Minecraft via backward compatibility and are not truly utilizing the full extent of their modern hardware. Hopefully Microsoft recognizes this after 4 years of waiting and gives us the current generation version we have been waiting for.
