Late April all Rocket League players will get the much-anticipated Basketball mode we first saw in early March! According to their website, "hoops" will be available both in Exhibition and the casual playlist. Teams of 2 will attempt to score baskets on each other by knocking the ball through giant hoops in the new map "Dunk House".
Something either left out, or we can begin to assume will not be a feature is added points for long distance shooting. Many speculated that the implementation of the 3 point arc would mean more points, but it's looking like that's not the case.
