We already saw in the story trailer that we are looking at an all new enemy, Kronika, who is the first female boss in the Mortal Kombat series’ history. Now we get to see a playable character that has followed her in to Mortal Kombat 11 as well!
We learned that Kronika has the ability to control time, so it is interesting that her loyal servant Geras also has a unique power we haven’t seen yet. Controlling the use of sand and teleportation, Geras looks to be a mighty foe that is sure to cause frustration to many players who end up facing him. Check out his reveal trailer:
I’m interested to see what role he will play when it comes to the overall story, but I wouldn’t doubt that he is sure to help Kronika the moment she falls into a tight predicament. The fighting style revealed in this trailer definitely shows that he is a force to be reckoned with and I can see many players finding his overall style to be one worth learning.
Mortal Kombat 11 is set to launch on April 23rd for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. You can unlock Shao Kahn and get access to the early Beta version by pre-ordering the game before March 28th.
