Quite the surprising announcement, to say the least, is that of a new title from Supermassive Games. With the team known to be working on the finale title to their Dark Pictures Anthology series, which isn’t even set to release until Halloween, they are getting ready to release a new choice-based horror game this Summer!
This time working with publisher 2K Games, this narrative-driven development team is ready to release The Quarry. It’s an all-new teen horror where your choices will determine who survives the tale and will even feature a star-studded cast. This cast includes David Arquette from the Scream franchise), Ariel Winter from Modern Family, Justice Smith from Jurassic World, Brenda Song from Dollface, Lance Henriksen from Aliens, Lin Shaye from A Nightmare on Elm Street, and more.
As the sun sets on the last day of summer camp, the teenage counselors of Hackett's Quarry throw a party to celebrate. No kids. No adults. No rules. However, things take a turn for the worst. Hunted by blood-drenched locals and something far more sinister, the teens' party plans unravel into an unpredictable night of horror. Friendly banter and flirtations give way to life-or-death decisions, as relationships build or break under the strain of unimaginable choices.
The Quarry is set to release on June 10th for PC via Steam, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. Interested players can pre-order the game name in either digital or physical edition and they even have a deluxe edition available, which includes death rewind instant access, gorefest movie mode, ‘80s themed outfits, horror history visual filters, and both console editions come with both new-gen and last-gen version (within the same console family).
