For fans of quality gaming audio gear and various accouterments, some good news has made its way down the pipeline; Skullcandy is releasing a new headset on September 27th and they recently dropped a teaser for it!
The new headset seems to be designed with gaming in mind as it comes with the classic microphone attached to the headset and appears to be wireless and Bluetooth enabled. Teased in the classic Skullcandy fashion with neon lights, strobes, and some sweet dubstep, it's easy to tell this is a Skullcandy product we're getting. The neon rainbow gaming chic that seems all the more common as a representation of gamer products as the years go by is ever present in the teaser trailer. I think the thing I’m curious the most about is if the headphones will have the option to glow in neon colors as many gaming appliances do in the modern day.
For me, Skullcandy always brings me back to my high school days biking on my way to school with my Skullcandy headphone plugged into my iPod Shuffle listening to some classic rock. The Skullcandy brand has always been reliable for the younger generation and I can’t wait to see what the upcoming headset will be like.
