Now that Supermassive Games has wrapped up and released The Quarry, it seems they are putting their focus back on the finale title for their Dark Pictures Anthology with their original publisher Bandai Namco. This one is titled The Devil In Me and it was first revealed at the end of last year with a short, dark trailer that didn’t give too much away. Now, their latest trailer shows off the cast, location, and some of the disturbing aspects we can expect to experience!
The Lonnit Entertainment TV crew receives a pressing and mysterious phone call from a man called Granthem Du’Met, with a promise of a tour around a faithful recreation of the H. H. Holmes murder castle, an idea that Lonnit Entertainment founder Charlie Lonnit believes might just save his show.
Jessie Buckley stars as a member of this ill-fated crew that visits this strange hotel location, a place that quickly turns into a deadly trap made by their disturbed host. Observed, isolated, and manipulated like rats in a maze, it soon becomes clear that the crew’s checkout is compromised, and they will have to make some impossible choices that they might live to regret or given that they get to live at all!
The Devil In Me is set to release sometime in Fall 2022 and is sure to be released on PC via Steam, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. They have also opened up pre-orders for fans who plan to get the game in either standard or the exclusive Animatronic Collector’s Edition. If you do decide to get the collector’s edition, it will include an Animatronic bust figurine, an exclusive postcard and envelope, a Lonnit Entertainment business card, and a trusty map of the Hotel Island, along with the game on your console platform of choice.
