Publishing titan Square Enix is preparing for the launch of the latest in their popular Star Ocean franchise next week, with Star Ocean The Divine Force being released on the 27th for PC, Xbox and Playstation.
Developed by tri-Ace, Star Ocean The Divine Force is the sixth mainline game in the long-running franchise, which wraps sci-fi and fantasy in an action-focused JRPG package.
In-game, you have two protagonists to experience the story through. You have futuristic space captain Raymond Lawrence, and princess-knight Laeticia, whose medieval-esque home planet Raymond crash lands on. Chance throws them together, and the events that follow will change the course of history for more than one planet.
A Digital Deluxe Edition will be available on all supported platforms, which comes with the OST, as well as a bundle of in-game character equipment. Players who pre-order any edition will receive a weapon's pack for both protagonists, the 'Lionheart's Blutgang' for Raymond, and the 'Flashing Naglering' for Laeticia. In addition, those who purchase the game prior to the 30th of November will receive a mini-game pawn pack.
Star Ocean The Divine Force is available to pre-order now and will be released on the 27th of October for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Playstation 4, Playstation 5 and PC via Steam.
