A new game has been added the Xbox One Backwards Compatibility program in the form of Team Ninja’s Ninja Gaiden II! Ninja Gaiden II was the awaited sequel to the Original Xbox reboot of the Ninja Gaiden franchise. Best yet the game is coming to Xbox One with Xbox One X specific enhancements such as higher detailed textures and native 4K support! Upon its original release in 2008, Ninja Gaiden II was considered to be one of the hardest games available. It will be interesting to see how it stands up to the likes of Sekiro in difficulty.
Ninja Gaiden II Wasn’t the only game announced to be getting Xbox One X specific enhancements however. An additional 5 titles were updated to run at native 4 K and have enhanced textures including Both Fable II and Fable III. All Xbox 360 era Splinter Cell games, Double Agent, Conviction and Blacklist, have also seen X enhancements. Now if only we could get the original Xbox Splinter Cell games added to the program we would be all set for that rumored Splinter Cell reveal that is going to happen at E3 2019!
