After the recent delay for pre-orders for the Nintendo Switch 2 in the US, Canada is now the latest country to have problems. According to a statement issued to mobilesyrup by Nintendo of Canada, the system could also be a victim to the US tarrifs.
Below is the full quote given to mobilesyrup by Nintendo Of Canada:
“Pre-orders for Nintendo Switch 2 in Canada will not start on April 9, 2025 in order to align with the timing of pre-orders to be determined in the U.S.,” Nintendo of Canada said in a statement to MobileSyrup. “Nintendo will provide updated information at a later date. The launch date of June 5, 2025 is unchanged.”
It seems that the NA launch for the latest Nintendo console is off to a rocky start already.
