Beautiful Legion of Quirks
The first few hours of the newly released Watch Dogs: Legion is full of intrigue, buzzwordy current events involving tech and some quirky dialogue with even more quirky performance. Even on our primary gaming PC (i7-10700k, RTX 3080, 32 GB of RAM), the game still chops and sputters inconsistently. However, the moment we enable NVIDIA DLSS, things start to smooth and still look amazingly gorgeous in most areas as shown in our captured screenshots here.
Personally, I recommend renting the game or getting a month of Ubisoft+ to try this game out before you invest your hard earned money into a game that still seems to be a work in progress. Some side mission I ran were either completely unbalanced or bugs present that resulted in insta-fail missions and other issues. Regardless of the game itself, NVIDIA DLSS continues to show amazing performance gains with VERY little image quality sacrifice.
