The 90s were a weird time for video game commercials in general. USA or Japan, both were doing crazy things! Google a commercial for a game that came out in that era and you'll be shocked the kind of stuff they did! One of the weirdest I've seen hands down has to be this Japanese commercial advertising The Legend of Zelda: A Link To The Past.
In it we hear Japanese rap, everyone dancing in unison, and I'm pretty sure Link switches from female to a male once the dancing ends. Talking about it does zero justice. Check out the link below.
