It’s only been a few weeks since Turtle Rock Studios and Warner Bros Games introduced to both the playable characters and various horde enemies in their upcoming co-op title, Back 4 Blood. Now they made a teaser announcement in their Summer Game Fest trailer that revealed their upcoming open beta details! They also have set the game up to be available for pre-order for those who know they will be hopping into the infected grounds on October 12th.
As for the details around the open beta, it will be a two-part system. For those who pre-order the game, they will get Early Access to the open beta from Aug. 5th through the 9th. Some players will even be granted access to this section of the open beta if they sign up to be chosen, but this is not a guarantee. However, all players will be given access to the open beta from Aug. 12th through the 16th! Not only that, but all versions of this open beta will be available on PC via Steam, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S with cross-play and cross-gen support enabled.
After experience this game from the closed alpha a while back, my first impression will tell you that this is definitely an open beta experience you will want to take part in! The Left 4 Dead developers have come a long way from their first game launch and really improved the zombie fighting thrills with this one. I can only imagine that it is going to be even better than it was six months ago when I got my own hands-on experience.
