PlayerUnknown Battlegrounds will be adding first person servers much sooner than expected as a new tweet from the Twitter account says the mode could be coming as soon as two weeks from now:

It doesn't explicitly say that mind you, but the typical monthly update for the game is due out in two weeks. The release of first person servers comes much quicker than expected, as the initial announcement regarding the new game mode had the developers stressing it wouldn't be as easy as "flipping a switch." So either it was that easy, or they have a lot of guys busting their tales to make sure the player base is satisfied! Either way, good news for gamers and this awesome game.
