Creators of the popular free-to-play horror game Poppy Playtime are back with a new multiplayer title so you can try to survive with friends. Mob Games announced Project: Playtime just a couple of days ago with a cinematic trailer, which you can find above, and has now released a gameplay trailer, which you’ll find below, that shows a glimpse into what players will be tasked with and facing off against.
The good news is that Project: Playtime is also planned to be a free-to-play title. In this one, six players attempt to create one giant toy while surviving a terrifying monster that roams the toy factory. A seventh player controls the monster and is given only one goal: Find and kill everyone.
Knowing this makes this title an asymmetrical horror game where six players work as a Resource Extraction Specialist for Playtime Co. and one player is simply a monster. For them, they will have several characters to choose from, all offering a unique set of skills used to catch and kill their prey.
Project: Playtime will release in early access on PC via Steam this December 6th. Which role do you look forward to playing more next week?
