Players that are still working on claiming the title as the King of Fighters have a whole new batch of content headed their way! SNK Corporation has announced that Season 2 for The King of Fighters XV will begin in January 2023. With this new season comes updates, new characters, and more.
Since they released the latest title of this fighter series in February 2022, they have provided various updates and 13 DLC characters have been added to its roster throughout Season 1. So, to kick off Season 2, they will be releasing the new character Shingo Yabuki in January who will then later be followed by Kim in Spring. Probably the best update from this new season will be the addition of crossplay function, which is sure to widen the field of challengers to face off against.
King of Fighters XV is available now, along with all of Season 1’s content and the upcoming Season 2 content, on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and on PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.
