Whether you love them or hate them, battle royale games are here to stay. PlayerUnkown’s Battlegrounds may not be as popular now as when it soared into the lime light in 2017, but the influence the game has had on the genre can never be understated. After its initial release on PC, PUBG was brought to consoles starting with Xbox One last December. Facing numerous performance problems and glitches, the Xbox One version of the game stands now as a sort of joke among players. After its time in the Xbox Preview Program, PUBG finally received its full retail release on September 4, 2018.
