For the first time ever, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is currently on sale on Steam. Players have until July 5 to avail the game at $20, which is 33% off from the regular price of $30. In case you’re wondering why the game is on sale right now, PUBG Corp. is currently celebrating a new sales milestone.
PUBG just sold 50 million copies worldwide. This figure includes sales from the PC and Xbox One. However, if you were to count the free mobile version of the game, that figure goes as far as 400 million registered players that have an average of 87 million playing on a daily basis on all available platforms.
PUBG Corp. mentioned in a press release that, “We’re going to keep working on new content and improvements for all versions of the game. We know there’s still so much we can do to make PUBG a better game for our players.”
In other PUBG news, the developer just announced the release date of the upcoming map on the PC version of the game. Scheduled to launch with Patch 15, Sanhok will be available on June 22 for the PC.
