As someone who believes that it’s possible to look cool and have functionality, GUNNAR Optiks and I cross paths frequently. Luckily for me, they reached out to me with a bunch of their sunglasses just in time for Summer! While I love their typical pair of gaming glasses, I was particularly excited about the sunglasses available. So, let’s see if the sunglasses they sent me met my expectations!

GUNNAR was nice enough to send a couple of pairs of sunglasses my way; the Stark Industries Edition sunglasses and the Tallac sunglasses. Right off the bat, I really liked the way that these sunglasses looked and felt. The Tallac are almost fully plastic, but feel very sturdy and have interesting leather blinders on the side to maximize sun resistance. Something I really liked about their look is how the deep blue sunglass lenses look in combination with their blacked-out design.

Secondly is the Stark Industries pair that would make Tony Stark himself proud. This thing exudes style with a sweet shiny silver to it and a hex design growing from the main frame through to the rubber ear tips. Not to mention the blue lenses I loved so much on the first pair. However, these have quickly become my favorite of the two.

Not only have I found that these sunglasses perform extremely well outdoors, thanks to them being 100% UV protectant, but they still protect from harmful blue light as well, just like GUNNAR’s other awesome products. As someone who works outdoors a lot and looks at the screen for hours on end during my full-time job, these are the most adaptable sunglasses I’ve ever had!
