Remnant: From the Ashes is a third-person action RPG developed by Gunfire Games and published by Perfect World Entertainment. The Souls-like video game features tense combat with both melee and ranged builds that players can customize. After a successful launch and warm critical reception, the game is continuing to improve with quality of life updates and new content for players to enjoy.
The October update will bring some big changes to the game. A new hardcore mode will be available with permadeath. That’s right. Only one life to live and so many ways to lose it. Remnant: From the Ashes features tough enemies, and they will be even more dangerous when death means the end of your campaign. In addition to the new game mode, there will also be a new emote system and a ping system to improve communication between players. Express yourself a little bit with emotes, but—more importantly—convey necessary information during combat or in regular play with the ping system.
This is a free update, and it’s available October 31st, 2019 on Xbox One, PlayStation4, Steam, and Arc.
