Pokémon Pokopia Yawn Up A Storm Guide: How to Increase Humidity For Slowpoke

Once you unlock the ‘Yawn Up A Storm!’ quest in Pokémon Pokopia, you’ll be given the complicated task of increasing the humidity so that Slowpoke can yawn. It sounds simple at first, but in reality, it involves a bunch of smaller quests that you must tackle first. We’ll help you get that perfect yawn out of Slowpoke and increase the humidity in the ‘Yawn Up A Storm!’ quest in Pokémon Pokopia.

How to complete ‘Yawn Up A Storm!’ quest in Pokémon Pokopia

The only way to free Onix from the cave is to make it rain, which only Slowpoke can do once you raise the humidity of the area. Simply watering the ground won’t do enough, so follow these steps and talk to Bulbasaur and Squirtle to actually complete this quest:

1. Unblock the nearby spring by breaking the block that looks like it’s leaking water. Make sure you’ve paved the way so the spring water flows to the nearby water fountain behind the Pokémon Center.

2. Talk to Squirtle to make a hydrated tall grass habitat, and have him follow you to move him in.

3. Talk to Bulbasaur to make a field of flowers habitat.

4. Talk to Bulbasaur again, and he’ll ask you to water some trees.

5. Talk to Slowpoke once he shows a speech bubble about feeling drowsy.

6. Talk to Squirtle, and he’ll request that you throw a Rain Dance party.

7. Talk to Professor Tangrowth to learn where to find two Castform Dolls for the Rain Dance party, which are in his cave.

8. Collect the Castform Dolls and create a Rain Dance habitat, then let Squirtle know, and he’ll start the party.

You may do these in a slightly different order in your own game, but in mine, this is how I did the quest. After all that, you can finally talk to Slowpoke and ask him to yawn, which will create enough rain to summon Kyogre, who will help make it rain enough to save Onix.

If you’re stuck at a certain step because the majority of the area is still low on humidity, make sure to splash water on the ground, grow flowers, and create natural water springs when possible.

Now that you’ve completed the ‘Yawn Up A Storm!” quest in Pokémon Pokopia, you should also learn how to find Lumber and how to find Vine Ropes.
