Heads up Sega fans, Retro-Bit’s new color options for the 2.4GHz wireless Sega Saturn controllers are almost here! The new colors on offer are the traditional Black Saturn pad alongside the Japanese exclusive White. Both new color options look fantastic and bring the total number of color options available for the Sega Saturn up to 4 (Clear Blue and Slate Grey being the original launch options). Both colors are going to begin shipping out next week at CastleMania Games (pre-orders available now for Black and White options) and Amazon (Product pages live for Black and White but orders not yet being taken). Announced back in May, the new color controllers are expanding upon Retro-Bit’s awesome line-up of 2.4GHz options for Retro and USB equipped devices!
Retro-Bit has a ton more things in the works for 2020 including a wireless version of the Tribute 64 controllers and a new take on the classic Dreamcast pads. Retro-Bit publishing is also hard at work to deliver some amazing licensed reprints of games that have become a bit harder to find over the years such as Mega Man The Wily Wars which was never released physically in North America! If all of these actually end up releasing in 2020 is unknown as the company has made their position on quality first very clear which I appreciate greatly. Regardless, I am looking forward to adding some new Saturn pads to my retro collection next week!
