Inspired by titles such as the classic city-smasher game Rampage and classic Kaiju movies Godzilla and King Kong, Gigapocalypse lets players reduce cities to rubble! Goody Gameworks and Headup Games originally unleashed this full roster of monsters for players to terrorize with on Steam last year, but now they are bringing the modernized classic experience to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
With every run you undertake to try and get to each location’s boss, your Giga will become more powerful and earn mutation points. Spend these points to upgrade your Giga with new mutations, skills, skins, and even up to five tiny minion pets who will accompany you on your outings of urban destruction. Take care of your Giga in Tamagotchi-style minigames and decorate your Giga’s home with cool items that will improve your Giga and make them even more menacing.
With a roster of nine different monsters to choose from, there is sure to be a Kaiju for every player. Gigapocalypse is set to release for console on June 2nd. Which monster type are you hoping to find on the roster?
