A new game approaches that is prepared to offer challenging gameplay to those brave enough to take it on. This game is the top-down hack ‘n’ slash action-RPG from Dark Point Games called Achilles: Legends Untold. Showing off some of the action and referring to their title as having Souls-like combat, this should be an interesting title for those who enjoy a challenge from a new point of view.
What should make this game stand out is its goal to introduce an easy-to-learn-but-hard-to-master experience within the combat design. Keeping the souls-like tactics in mind, but without letting it become a barrier to newer players. Plus, it has the innovative GAIA system, responsible for the AI characters’ actions to feel lifelike and work together in unpredictable ways. There will even be a co-op experience available for players to hone their skills alongside a companion.
Achilles: Legends Untold is set to release onto Steam’s Early Access sometime in Q1 of 2022. Then players can begin to gather resources, fight mythological creatures, and battle gods as they prepare to end the conflict between Hades and Ares.
