Ahhhh….! Can you feel that change in the air?! It’s Fall here in North America and while it’s still a bit toasty where I’m located, there is a definitely a chill in the air early mornings and evenings which means even more gaming goodness as we approach the Holiday season.
Along with some quick reviews for games and gear, it’s also an op to share some new Switch 2 titles along with current and upcoming games you may have missed. Let’s get it started in hurrrr!
The Switch 2 is off a stellar start this year and even though I see some complain that there should be more AAA titles, and I tend to agree, there are already plenty of quality 1st and 3rd party titles available now! Here are the latest that we have in rotation and enjoying immensely:
Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection - 9/10
Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter - 9/10
Just Dance 2026 - 8/10
ARK: Ultimate Survivor Edition - 8/10
Turtle Beach Vulcan II TKL Keyboard & Burst II Pro Mouse
Available Now
OMG.. how does Turtle Beach keep releasing such quality gear at such low prices?! Turtle Beach isn’t just competing, they’re disrupting. Both products feel shockingly premium considering how fair the pricing is, with great build quality, excellent responsiveness, and a pro-level feel that belies their cost. For gamers who want quality peripherals but don’t want to drop “custom keyboard” money, this combo is a seriously compelling pairing.
Farthest Frontier
Available Now
Now this is what these lists are all about! One of those under-the-radar gems that deserves more attention: A city-builder that’s both relaxing and cozy and absolutely brutal and punishing in the later stages. It scratches both itches at once: mellow management early on and ruthless, high-stakes survival mastery later. For those who like their strategy thoughtful and sometimes merciless, this is absolutely worth discovering.
Get it.
Gunnar Witcher Glasses
Available Now
Yet another brilliant partnership between Gunnar and one of gaming’s most iconic franchises, and the result is another stylish, high-quality pair of gaming glasses worth owning. The collab branding is tasteful, the overall build feels premium, and whether you’re gaming or just working at your screen, the eye comfort and clarity are outstanding — it’s a win for Witcher fans and display-staring humans in general.
The Jackbox Party Pack 11
Available Now
The latest entry of this long running series feels like a true return to form for the series, delivering some of their best trivia modes in years and reminding everyone why these games continue to be the gold standard for group play. The mix of clever writing, smart prompts, and endlessly quotable moments makes it an absolute blast, especially when played with friends on those crisp autumn nights when everyone’s gathered, laughing, and tossing out ridiculous answers. It’s the perfect reminder that sometimes the best gaming experiences aren’t about graphics or frame rates, they’re about the shared chaos and joy of playing together.
PGA Tour 25 / NHL 26
Available Now
PGA Tour 2K25 continues to absolutely crush it in the golf sim space, even if golf isn’t the most hyped sport on earth with stunning presentation, loads of content, tons of courses, and remarkable polish. It might not be flashy like football or basketball games, but the craft here is undeniable and this year’s entry feels extremely refined.
EA SPORTS NHL 26 also is another year of EA showing that when it comes to hockey, they’re firing on all cylinders, especially on PS5. The near-photo-real visuals, responsive gameplay, and overall presentation come together to deliver a premium experience for hockey fans. Not revolutionary, but unquestionably elite-tier quality.
Bounty Star

Another hidden gem!
This game stands out with its unusual and honestly awesome mix of mech combat and farming elements, creating a hybrid experience that you rarely see. The mech action is satisfying and cool, but life outside the cockpit needs more refinement and structure to truly sing. Still, it’s refreshing, interesting, and worth watching as it finds its footing.
Farming? Mech combat?! Yes, please!
Onirism
Available Now
Now is the perfect example of “don’t judge a book by its cover”. It might look childlike or simplistic at first glance, but it’s surprisingly deep, fun, creative, and way more addictive than expected.
Sure, it’s not flawless, but the imagination and gameplay loop are so entertaining that those rough edges are easy to forgive. Check it out and we can’t wait to see where the team takes this little gem.
Simon the Sorcerer Origins
Available Now
A breath of gaming fresh air! The kind of point-and-click adventure that immediately feels like a heartfelt love letter to the classics! Meanwhile, it still has the production values, style, and writing chops to win over an entirely new generation of players. It’s packed with charm, clever puzzles, and that old-school wit the genre used to be known for, but with just enough modernization in pacing, visuals, and flow to make it feel relevant today. Whether you grew up during the golden LucasArts/Sierra era or you’re just discovering the adventure genre now, Simon the Sorcerer Origins shows there’s still plenty of magic left in this type of game and it’s more than worthy of carrying the torch forward.
They DO make ‘em like they used to! ;-)
Star Wars: Beyond Victory
Available Now
Another entry in the ever-increasing realm of neat “VR showcase with some genuinely cool interactive demos and moments”, but it definitely suffers from a “been there, done that” VR déjà vu.
It’s still worth a look for diehard Star Wars fans who simply want more immersive galaxy-far-far-away content, but more casual players will likely feel like this is mostly familiar territory with some nice presentation flourishes. The biggest missed op is a REAL VR podracer!
Pax Dei 1.0

Another crafting could be masterpiece with jaw-dropping visuals and an enormous amount of potential, but with so many crafting-and-builder games flooding the market, this one still feels a bit unfinished in critical areas. There’s definitely something here, the foundation is exciting, but the depth and completeness just aren’t quite there yet. With more time and updates, this could be something truly special.
For now, I’m concerned about the longevity and community issues that are common here. Still, there is a lot to love and the visuals are truly a sight to behold if that’s most important to ya.
Raven2
Available Now
Talk about unique! This little diversion delivers some jaw-dropping visuals and surprisingly high production values for a PC/mobile title, with flashy armor, wild designs, and yes, some hilariously horny stat-boosting outfits. But the auto-combat really holds it back, reducing the potential depth and agency of what could’ve been a killer action RPG.
There’s good stuff here but it just needs more hands-on control what is good could have been amazing. With the death of the much debated New World MMO, the world needs more deep online experiences.
Previews / Early Access
Fellowship Early Access
Available Now
Man, the games just keep on comin’! Another entry for this week is a simple yet well-polished online dungeon crawler that offers scaling content and straightforward co-op fun. It’s not trying to reinvent the genre or redefine dungeon runners, but what it does choose to do, it does consistently and cleanly. If you’re into quick-session co-op runs with friends and enjoy a game that gets to the point without unnecessary bloat, Fellowship is a solid pick. It’s not groundbreaking, but if this style of game is your jam, it delivers exactly what you’re looking for.
Simple yet fun.
Far Far West Playtest
Wow! What a surprise as there are just not enough western themed games these days. Far Far west shows off a ton of personality and stylistic flair and clearly has something cool brewing under the hood but it absolutely still needs more development time to truly click. The potential is there, the vibe is great, the idea is fresh it just needs more time to bake into its final form.
We’ll be watching this one closely!
Screamer Preview
Screamer so far an absolute blast withanime aesthetic + racing is one of those instant “yes please” combos and what’s here so far shows real promise. There’s not enough content yet to make a final call, but the vibe and potential direction are absolutely exciting.
Another unique title that we have high hopes for and we’ll be keeping our eyes on. With a killer track record like Hot Wheels and MotoGP, this is the racing game to watch.
