Riot Games just pulled back the curtain on Corrode, the next map coming to VALORANT on June 25th. Set on the harsh, climate-ravaged Omega Earth, this 5v5 battleground drops players into a French castle town that’s been transformed into a radianite salt mining facility. Think medieval streets fused with industrial grit.
Corrode features a classic three-lane setup leading to two spike sites, but what sets it apart is the way it’s built to encourage smarter plays over utility spam. With strategic fallbacks and stacked defensive zones, this one’s all about tactical takeovers, not brute force.
The map will be available in the competitive pool right from launch, and to help players adjust, Riot’s rolling out a special two-week bonus: 50% less RR lost on Corrode losses, but still 100% gain on wins. It’s a solid incentive to grind it out without stressing your rank. Plus, from June 25–30, Swiftplay will have a dedicated Corrode-only queue for faster, focused reps.
Also dropping this act is the Phaseguard Collection—a new skinline channeling high-tech style and sleek precision. It includes the Vandal, Outlaw, Ghost, Bulldog, and a slick new melee called the Splitter.
Want to hit the ground running when Corrode drops? If you're not in the mood to grind from the bottom, you can always pick up a Valorant account that’s already stacked with agents, skins, and a solid rank.
Season 2025 // Act IV hits the market on June 25th with the new collection available to players starting June 26th.
