Risk of Rain 2 fans can finally stop holding their breath because Gearbox Publishing and Hopoo Games have finally brought us it’s first-ever expansion! The Survivors of the Void DLC is offering more levels, more enemies, and more Risk of Rain.
Along with Massive levels, the Survivors of the Void will also bring with it two new survivors. The Railgunner is a powerhouse sniper, perfect for these massive new levels. The Void Fiend is a “corrupt combatant” that seeps with mystery, but each of these will have their own unique skills and play-styles to offer for the world of Risk of Rain 2.
The five new stages will offer new terrain to explore and secrets to uncover. The DLC even brings a brand new endgame stage and alternative final boss. Players can also expect 40 new items to add on to the whopping number of combinations the game already has.
On top of all of this, Survivors of the Void is also giving players a brand new endless mode that sets you and your friends against wave upon wave of enemies that progressively get tougher. Make sure you have at least one survivor left at the end of each wave and your entire team will get revived to take on the next set of enemies.
New monsters, new bosses, new Elite types, new modes, new music, new Survivors, new items, and new levels. This expansion is mighty hefty and will keep Risk of Rain 2 fans busy for quite some time. Risk of Rain 2 and its expansion, Survivors of the Void, are available now for PC and discounted on Steam for a limited time.
