Psyonix is playing diplomat to the big three as it makes once again surfaces the possibility of multiplatform with some bold statements directed towards gaming giant Sony. Essentially, vice president Jerry Dunham tells IGN the only thing holding up the unification of gaming is Sony, and that Psyonix has the process so down, if they got the green light it would be done TONIGHT...
"We're literally at the point where all we need is the go-ahead on the Sony side and we can, in less than a business day, turn it on and have it up and working no problem. It'd literally take a few hours to propagate throughout the whole world, so really we're just waiting on the permission to do so."
Once again, Sony is left to respond. I can totally see why they don't want to do it, but it's stupid at this point not to! It'll only further expand the player base between all available platforms, and give the game a longer shelf life than it already has. You're already winning with the PS4 Sony, don't be blinded by arrogance.
