The rumor mill is in full force here at the start of 2020. We have claims EA is making a new Knights of the Old Republic game and now even that Batman Arkham series creators, Rocksteady, newest title is going to be Xbox Exclusive. This latest leak comes from NeoGAF user OsirisBlack, who has put some credibility under their belt by accurately leaking the specs of the PS4 Pro before launch. Anyways, the rumor goes that Rocksteady’s next game will once again be set in the DC Universe featuring either Superman, Justice League, or Suicide Squad. The game will be revealed at E3 2020 on the Microsoft stage alongside a reveal of Killer Instinct 2.
Yeah, not a whole lot to go on here but it would be an interesting move of it turned out to be true. Sony’s ownership of the Spider-Man film rights has already been able to get the PlayStation 4 an exclusive Spider-Man title with a sequel also rumored to be on the way. Could this rumor be Microsoft trying to get their own exclusive super hero franchise? If it does turn out to be true the console wars are going to see a nice influx of Marvel vs DC debate that should prove to be exceptionally cringe worthy! Of course this is all just speculation and rumor with no evidence to back it up at this point in time. Until official Confirmation is given treat this like the rumor it is with a nice big grain of salt.
