Marvel Rivals is one of the most popular team shooters on the market right now, stealing the crown from Overwatch. It leverages the Marvel IP brilliantly with a healthy amount of content with new heroes, skins, maps, and more on a regular basis. Currently the game is exclusive to the PC, PS5, and Xbox Series consoles, but a new rumor might suggest the game could come to the PS4.
According to a rather cryptic tweet by PlayStation Game Size on Twitter, it seems that Marvel Rivals could be coming to the PS4.
While a lot of people say that the game can not possibly come to the console, its worth mentioning that Fortnite, Rainbow 6, and other similar games are on the PS4 and despite its age, these games run relatively well at 60 FPS. Marvel Rivals is by no means a demanding game and it is entirely possible to run it on the PS4.
We will have to wait and see what lies in the future of the game, but considering we are currently in an era where multiplayer games are dropping support for older generation consoles, this is the first time in a long while I have seen a developer or publisher add support for an older console this late into release.
