For those who have played through the latest title from The Dark Pictures Anthology series, The Devil In Me, then you know that Supermassive Games and Bandai Namco have wrapped up Season One. You would also know that at the very end of the credits for The Devil In Me, they gave the reveal trailer for what the Season Two Premiere game will be. For everybody who hasn’t seen it yet, allow us to present to you: Directive 8020!
This time, they are sending players out to space! You can get a first glimpse at one of the many possible disasters, from the ‘next game premonition’ image found in The Devil In Me, followed by the proper reveal trailer. It seems they are going to go with some sort of alien or symbiote takeover theme on a ship built for a small crew to orbit a potential new home planet for civilization to move to.
There is really so much more to learn about the game, but it was cool to see a full reveal trailer at the end of the game. What are your thoughts on The Dark Pictures Anthology: Directive 8020?
