Following the mostly well-received first expansion update for Back 4 Blood, called Tunnels of Terror, comes the next expansion update from Warner Bros Games and Turtle Rock Studios. This new DLC expansion is called Children of the Worm and it will be available August 30th for players who purchased the Annual Pass, Deluxe Edition, and Ultimate Edition of Back 4 Blood. It will also be available as a standalone purchase on all platforms.
This second expansion will bring a brand-new story campaign that puts players into an epic showdown with a fierce new enemy threat. To help combat this unknown adversary, the expansion will introduce a new cleaner known as “Prophet” Dan, a gun-toting, self-proclaimed preacher of the end times. Along with the new campaign and cleaner, this update will include eight exclusive character skins and 12 exclusive weapon skins, along with new weapons, accessories, and cards.
Back 4 Blood started off well since launch, reached the incredible milestone of 10 million players, and had a successful release of their first DLC expansion update. With a track record like that and my own experience with the game myself, I have to admit that I can’t wait to check out the Children of the Worm update! Will this update be bringing you back for another few rounds of apocalypse-fighting, world-saving action?
