The popular fantasy book by Markus Heitz is coming to your gaming console December 1st. The idea for a game based off the bestselling novel The Dwarves was successfully Kickstarted over a year ago, and now that we're seeing the final result, I'm intrigued! Here's the official description for the story...
The game takes place in the world of 1920+, an alternate version of our own world where mankind, fascinated by technology, engines and iron, invented powerful walking machines. Once mighty weapons on the battlefields of the Great War, they are now part of everyday life. Mighty factions fight for influence, while hidden forces are working towards the destabilization of Europe, determined to set the world on fire once again.
I can get behind that! The game is described as a fantasy tactical RPG with real-time combat that can be paused to change tactics. I like the concept, and any game that's based off a best-selling Fantasy book has to have a pretty good story right? Be on the lookout for this one on Xbox One, PS4 and PC December 1st.
