It seems that leading into the end of 2020, a few games are ready to set out for launch. While we are all anticipating both The Game Awards and the release of Cyberpunk 2077 on December 10th, there are a few indie titles coming out just days before then that are worth checking out. Regardless of what your preferred gaming platform is, there is a title releasing on Tuesday that might be worth checking out.
RYTE: The Eye of Atlantis by Orichalcum Pictures (PC VR)
For those who enjoy taking advantage of playing with your virtual reality headsets on either Steam VR and Oculus, then here’s a lite-adventure game to consider. RYTE: The Eye of Atlantis is an ancient Greece and Myst-inspired VR adventure game. Set in a true-to-life vision of the fabled lost civilization, players will be able to admire historically accurate artifacts as they solve challenging puzzles and make decisions that could impact human civilization forever. Swords of Gargantua by Thirdverse (PSVR)
Already a beloved sword-fighting virtual reality title for players on PC, with a mostly positive review score on Steam, is Swords of Gargantua. PSVR players will soon be able to engage in fast-paced rogue-lite action and realistic swordplay as well. Featuring both single-player mode and online co-op with up to 3 other players, users must level up their weapons and abilities to fight against a horde of enemies, and ultimately face their master, the towering titan named GARGANTUA. Monster Sanctuary by Moi Rai Games (PC / PS4 / XB1 / NS)
Already a beloved title by many users who took advantage of the early access launch on Steam, Monster Sanctuary is coming to PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on Tuesday. This game is a monster-collecting action-RPG Metroidvania that brings a darker tone to the gameplay style many of us have been enjoying through Pokemon since we were young, except now in a 2D fashion. This game will task players to overcome and collect beasts, become the best Monster Keeper, battle in tactical 3v3 combat, and discover a deep Metroidvania world. Check out the latest trailer below:
