The upcoming online multiplayer sci-fi shooter title Dysterra is looking for players that want to participate in their closed beta in May. Coming from developers Reality MagiQ and publisher Kakao Games, they are planning to run their closed beta between May 4th to the 17th. Interested players can sign up by simply going to the Steam page and clicking the ‘Request Access’ button.
This game aims to mix solid first-person shooting with sophisticated survival and crafting elements, in a distinct dystopian world; following the Terrafire — an enormous pillar of fire that erupted after humans began mining the Earth’s core. Players have to fight to survive as the planet’s final days ebb away.
During the beta, players will engage in ferocious battles with a mixture of melee weapons and firearms. While the more taxing crafting requirements (lowering the entry barrier for shelter construction, etc) have been modified to accommodate the game’s beta period. Players can expect a focus on acquiring special skills through relentless combat and base occupation.
Dysterra’s closed beta is coming up soon, so don’t wait to sign up if you are interested in taking part. If you do get selected, make sure to join their Discord so you can team up with others and provide feedback for the developers.
