Set up to follow the Octopath Traveler series, Square Enix has announced that they are bringing a new tale to mobile devices. This game is called Octopath Traveler: Champions of the Continent and it is being designed as a turn-based strategy game. While it is planned to be released on both iOS and Android devices sometime in 2022, they are planning to host a closed beta soon for Android users. If you are interested in participating in that, simply sign up right on the google play store.
Prepare to experience a brand-new story in the world of Orsterra, a few years prior to the events of the original Octopath Traveler title. Travel Orsterra as “the Chosen One,” and fight to stop ruthless tyrants who seek to unleash a bottomless darkness upon the land.
The closed beta trailer above may be short, but it shows off some gameplay and the graphical quality players can expect in Octopath Traveler: Champions of the Continent. Seeing how Square Enix is pretty well known for their turn-based fantasy games, this is definitely a game to consider. If you do sign up, the closed beta is planned to take place from March 22nd, 5:00 PM PDT through April 4th, 11:59 PM PDT.
