Sniper Elite 5 will be releasing this May, and Rebellion Developments Limited has released a launch-date trailer for the upcoming installment of their beloved series. Rebellion has also outlined both the pre-order bonuses for the game as well as post-launch content, including a new, two-part, story campaign.

From the trailer, it seems the Nazis are gearing up for something big. It also showed some cool melee kills that revealed the new, upgraded kill camera. These new abilities place more of an emphasis on platforming and traversal.

The season pass, which is included in the Deluxe Edition of the game, will give players access to a two-part story campaign coming post-launch, along with more weapons and cosmetics for both their character and their guns. Rebellion also outlined the preorder bonuses for the game, which include:

“Wolf Mountain,” a unique mission that takes players to Hitler’s heavily-fortified retreat in the Bavarian Alps to end the fuhrer’s reign once and for all.

The single-player campaign has players take control of a US Special Forces sniper, Karl Fairburne, as he uncovers a secret, Nazi plot. Code-named Operation Kraken, this plot is crucial to the Nazis' hopes. It will have players scope-to-face with the Abelard Möller, the brains behind the whole scheme. Gamers will be tasked with stopping him from bringing Operation Kraken to fruition.

Sniper Elite 5 will launch globally on Thursday, May 26th, 2022, and is available now for preorder on Xbox Game Pass, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via the Epic Games Store, Steam, and the Windows Store.
