Cool Collector’s Editions Provided by Microids
There really is nothing like getting a collector’s edition for your favorite games. It’s like a goodie bag full of exactly the things you would want! As a publisher of some of the latest titles that many players can’t get enough of, Microids has released a few collector editions for their recent games that are worth checking out!
One of their latest collector’s editions is for The House of the Dead Remake, which was digitally published by Forever Entertainment and developed by MegaPixel Studio. It was first released on the Nintendo Switch and then quickly brought to PC via Steam, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Google Stadia. While it was fun to play on the Nintendo Switch, my experience on the Steam version showed that there is nothing like having clean control of the gun mechanics for an arcade shooter like this one.
These teams partnered with Microids to publish a physical edition for the Nintendo Switch and set it up in a ‘Limidead’ Edition. This edition includes the physical copy of the game for Nintendo Switch, an exclusive box with lenticular, two zombie character stands, and a sticker sheet. The Limidead Edition is available for pre-order on Amazon and Best Buy for $39.99 and will be available on June 14th.
Another cool collector’s edition that Microids has is the Vengeance Edition for Sifu, the latest martial arts-based game from the Sloclap development team. As one of the most well-received action games this year, it’s no wonder they would release an edition fans would want to get! While the game is available digitally on PC via Epic Games, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5, this physical edition is only available for the two PlayStation platforms.
The Vengeance Edition comes with a physical copy of the game on either PS4 or PS5, a steelbook case, three lithographs, a digital soundtrack code, and a 48-page art book called ‘The Art of Sifu.’ This collector’s edition is available now on the Maximum Games Store, Amazon, Best Buy, and GameStop for $49.99. Considering everything that you get from this set, that is a very fair price!
