Well, it wouldn't be a VR release without shipments getting held off. Gamasutra tells us that Sony is expecting shipping issues when it comes to the release of the Playstation VR. The words come from VP Andrew House who elaborated in his interview initially held on CNBC...
"We have growing confidence that we'll be supply constrained with this product, but we'll do our very best to meet demand,...Virtual reality is a medium that's in its infancy. With such a nascent, very new form of storytelling, it's difficult to predict what user uptake is going to be."
It sucks, but it's not to be unexpected anymore. People are VR crazy at E3, and I think it's going to be awhile before we see any of that slow down.
