Hello all loot-junkies and space pirates, prepare to depressurize those airlocks. Marauders from Small Impact Games, published by Team17 launches into Steam Early Access next week on October 3. There will be a 10% off sale for Marauders preorders on the main website HERE.

In an alternative 1990’s where The Great War never ended even after humanity made it to space, Marauders puts players in the boots of space mercenaries called “marauders”. The goal of the game is to plunder various sci-fi locations, survive the AI and enemy players attempting to do the same, and escape to turn a profit on that sweet loot. Working alone or with up to 3 other players, you will need to fly spaceships to these locations, which makes for another layer of intensity when those ships can be attacked by other captained ships. Bail out of critically damaged ships or risky raids in escape pods, and use them to board other players’ ships and steal them! Remember that everything left behind will be lost, so if you die or leave it it is gone forever.

With the same intense raid mechanics as Escape from Tarkov in a gritty sci-fi universe, Marauders will require cunning, communication, and a fully loaded kit to take the dangers that will face players on each raid location. Gather your crew, equip your gear, and set a course for profit or death. This weekend, excited fans can also enjoy “Marauderthon” on Twitch and the homepage as the game preps for that early access launch.
