Starting today, Star Wars The Old Republic subscribers have access to Bioware's new story campaign Knights of the Fallen Empire. This single player campaign debuts with nine episodes, with the rest releasing episodically over the rest of this year and early next.
As you can see in the trailer above, the new campaign is more akin to Knights of the Old Republic than the more MMO-focused content the game has been known for thus far. This story driven expansion also comes with an automatic level 60 character, so players can hop right in and start experiencing the new content. For people like me who have not been enamored with the more MMO aspects of the game, this is a fantastic way to draw us in. In addition to the new content, tweaks have been made to the 1 - 50 levels to streamline them and put an emphasis on story in the early going.
Even if you are just starting out, it looks like there is a lot to be excited about, and any chance to play a more defined narrative experience from Bioware is always something I can gear up for.
