PS5 users interested in trying out the upcoming action title, Stellar Blade, can now download the game’s demo on the PlayStation Store. This demo includes the first stage with a tutorial that goes over the game’s core combat mechanics, and systems to familiarize players with what to expect from the full release.
It also features the first major boss fight, and tons of enemies, the Naytiba for players to take on in the post-war Eidos 7. Additionally, all progress made in the demo will be carried over to the main release should you wish to purchase it. Finally, the demo runs at 60 FPS, and comes with the DualSense features to give you a taste of what to expect.
Stellar Blade is coming exclusively to the PlayStation 5 next month on April 26th, 2024. It’s available to pre-order now. I’m very glad that PlayStation has been releasing demos for a wide variety of their upcoming releases. It helps players make better decisions and go in with the correct expectations, especially since Stellar Blade seems to be closer to Sekiro than Bayonetta based on the recent previews.
