Two open-world adventures have release dates within the next two weeks. A Knight’s Quest and Stranded Sails: Explorers of the Cursed Islands will launch on October 10th and 17th, respectively. The Xbox One version of A Knight’s Quest will release the following day on the 11th. Both games will feature elements similar to adventure games like The Legend of Zelda, but each indie title has its own distinctive qualities and style.
Curve Digital “invites you to play as Rusty in his quest - controlling the elements, dodging perilous traps, and battling challenging enemies through the fantastical open world of Regalia.” It looks like the open world and exciting environment will be irresistible for players. The cartoony atmosphere promises a lot of fun.
Farming and exploring have equal footing in the upcoming Stranded Sails that plays like the lovechild of Zelda and Stardew Valley. Even though managing your shipwrecked crew is important and cultivating a thriving farm is essential, the game also “lets you explore several different islands where new treasure and crucial resources can be found. Mystery and dangerous threats lie in wait, so you must tread carefully once you sail into this thrilling world.”
Both games will be available on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and the Nintendo Switch.
