After the beta build of Street Fighter V leaked on Steam yesterday, loads of information began pouring out about the upcoming season of the franchise. Eurogamer reports the most substantial of these is Capcom finally implementing some measure to combat the rage quitting and disconnecting from matches. Sounds like a good plan to me! I would love to frequently play someone who doesn't have a 1 bar internet connection and conveniently disconnects as soon as I gain the upper hand in the battle. Hopefully, the measure is enough to make the game enjoyable again to a casual audience. I love Street Fighter, but I feel I have no reason to play if I'm not trying to take it to a competitive level!
Street Fighter V will enter its second season December 20th.
