Players of Thunderful’s action-adventure The Gunk will now be able to record the sites of the ravaged alien planet for posterity with the introduction of an extensive photo mode included in the March update. This sci-fi exploration game, developed by Image & Form Games, was released in December 2021 and has been praised for its visuals and vistas, making this a logical step.
This feature will not only give players the tools to take pictures of their environment but will allow them to perfect their snaps with a large variety of tweaks and filters. Would-be photographers can control the roll, depth of field, and exposure, as well as apply various filters, and pose Rani to hit the right mood for their shot.
Along with this, the update includes tweaks and fixes, with improved resolution settings, upgraded 4K support, optional motion blur, and quality-of-life control adjustments, which are all updates that the community had been eagerly requesting.
Thunderful has been encouraging players to share their creations with the new features through the Thunderful Twitter account, and the hashtag #TheGunkPhotoMode.
The Gunk is available now on the Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows PC via the Xbox Games Store, and is currently free on Game Pass, with it set to release on other PC storefronts, like Steam, very soon.
