Team 17 and BKOM Studios have been cookin’ up something spicy! Sunday Gold is a newly announced dystopian adventure game set in 2070s London. With a premise like that, we really have no reason not to be at least a little interested in what comes next!
Players will get to control 3 main characters (who just so happen to have their own flavorful backgrounds) who each have a grudge against a mysterious billionaire CEO. You’ll be swapping control of each character to hack, smash, and talent your way through each obstacle in your path.
The gameplay will be following the likes of a point-and-click adventure with escape room-style puzzles. Drizzle in some turn-based combat in there and we have what could quite easily be a wonder for the senses, especially since Sunday Gold features a stylish comic book art style that is already looking absolutely amazing. The atmosphere that this game has on display is one of the key elements to this experience that I personally cannot wait to dive into and get lost within. Luckily if you want to have a jump-in early, there's a free-to-play prologue available right now on Steam so go download that and give it a shot for yourself to judge whether the final full product is something you need.
Sunday Gold is totally my kind of game so I’ll definitely be jumping in when the full release is available. Sunday Gold will be launching on PC on the 13th of September 2022 so keep your eyes peeled.
