During December 2016, Dead Rising 4 was released with the options to purchase the game on its own or as the Deluxe Edition with the Season Pass. If you had bought the Season Pass at release, you were promised three DLCs when they became available: Stocking Stuffer Holiday Pack, Dead Rising 4: Frank Rising and Super Ultra Dead Rising 4 Mini Golf. I am happy to announce that the last one on that list will finally become available soon.
Xbox Wire provides a brief description of the mini-game:
You’ve mastered the outbreak – now it’s time to master the green, with eighteen holes of pure wanton destruction you can play with up to three friends online. Flip zombies the birdie where bloodthirsty, over the top zombie mayhem is par for the course. The world of Super Ultra Dead Rising 4 Mini Golf is extreme and the fairways are the town of Willamette, Colorado, including the iconic Willamette Memorial Megaplex Mall. Use Frank West’s favorite weapons as your set of golf clubs. With an oversized golf ball, drive down the fairways, reaching for the green to nail the perfect putt. Watch your score as you do not want to bogey in this zombie filled eighteen-hole golf course. Mini golf is made crazier with the zombie horde as obstructions and hazards.
The DLC will be released on June 20, 2017 for Xbox One, Steam, and Windows 10. If you haven't purchased Dead Rising 4 yet, you can still pick up the Deluxe Edition with Season Pass for $80. If you bought the standard game, you can get the Season Pass with all three DLC content as they are released for $20, or you can just pick up the mini-game for $10.
