Katanas and video games. The match that has ultimately always brought about glorious bloody moments in gaming history. Today we mark yet another contender to that list, Shadow Warrior 3. The majestic folk over at Devolver Digital have graced us with a brand new launch trailer, showing off some of the new features we can expect to see in the new title. From new weapons to fourth-wall-breaking jokes, the trailer nails it all.
We see the main protagonist, Lo Wang, flaunting his legendary swordsmanship against a multitude of comic book baddies. The trailer isn’t afraid to flaunt the game’s offbeat humor and over-the-top gore, one can expect from the Shadow Warrior series. Players can expect high octane action and fluid control with the multiple tools of dismemberment at their disposal. Grappling hook, wall running, katana, and lots of guns are fueling this title inside and out.
Pre-orders are available now and unlock an exclusive Koromodako Katana and it also includes Flying Wild Hog’s 2013 Shadow Warrior and Shadow Warrior 2 for free. Sounds like a slice of heaven! Shadow Warrior 3 is launching on March 1, 2022, for PC via Steam, PS4, and Xbox One.
