Indie developers rose-engine have teamed up with both Humble Games and PLAYISM to release a new classic survival horror game. Their title SIGNALIS is set in a dystopian future where humanity has uncovered a dark secret. The experience is introduced in a classic style of top-down hyper-pixelation, giving it almost a modernized retro aesthetic.
The story begins as Elster awakens from cryostasis in a wrecked vessel. Now stranded on a cold planet, she sets out on a journey into depths unknown. Players will unravel a cosmic mystery, escape terrifying creatures, and scavenge the corners of an off-world government facility as Elster, a technician Replika searching for her lost dreams.
SIGNALIS is set to release on October 27th for PC via Steam, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. Does this title look like one that will make it on your Halloween wishlist this year?
